![]() ![]() The stories were written many years after the fact, but just a few short notes here and there as the memories filtered back were quite sufficient for interresting stories. i have written a couple of short story collections for family and friends based on real life happenings. If you can keep some sort of journal about certain happenings, especially unusual, you may not have an idea now, while your time is taken up with other peoples (NCO's & CO's types) desires (orders), of where to go with an idea, but a later review years later can suddenly give you an idea. I think you will do very well in future and I can hardly wait for you next additions. When i read yur first one, it was nearly impossible to tell where reality (if, indeed, there was reality)left off and the fiction began. later KTKT1, your stories do have a certain attitude of realism and a great deal of belevability. I don't like when the stories sound too far over the top. Enjoy and I'm already working on a new story (fictional) They're hard to write actually. The 2 stories that I think were some of the best from Industrial Flesh were "Bigger, Stronger, Sister), and (Mighty Oak). Lot's of good stories in the archives all over that board. ![]() The date that I used to find the best stories was 21 Sep 02. Īfter using the link type in (It's a site similar to this one that was closed about 2 years ago.) Once you type in you will be taken to a page that has a lot of different dates. I did a search and I was able to track down the stories from Industrial Flesh that I mentioned as well as a few other good authors. I'm glad you like the stories that I posted so far. (Not sure if you have read anything he wrote, but his stories were the best that I have read.) Not sure what happened to him, haven't seen a new story from him in about 2 years. ![]() If not replace at least write stories that are just as good as his were eventually. My goal is to one day replace Industrial Flesh as the best writer in terms of female strength related stories. I'm still a rookie when it comes to writing stories, but it helps out tremendously to have a topic that I enjoy writing about. Old TimerThanks for the positive words Old Timer. KT1, if you like to wrtite stories, or are a writer by profession, you are in a situation that could be a gold mine for you. while on the boat heading for home, my journal got lost (to be more blunt, stollen) Some of those stories still pop into my head now and then after 50+ years. Even while "Joe" was tossin' his mortar rounds at us, there were always funny happenings. While I was on my two year vacation w/side trip to Orient, korea, that is, i kept a journal of funny happenings. ![]()
